We meet 11 months of the year at 3 locations each month for breakfast.
Ettalong on the first Friday of the month
Tuggerah on the 2nd Friday of the month
Erina on the 4th Friday of the month.
We’re excited to welcome Sarah Cook from Atlantix Studios, who will be presenting on how the smartphone in your pocket can become one of the most powerful tools in your business. Sarah will share practical tips and tricks to help you take better photos, create content with confidence, and make the most of features you may not even know your phone has.
While Sarah is an Apple-based user, she promises to sprinkle in some Android-friendly advice too—though she says she’ll try not to judge you too much if you’re still on Team Green!
Plus of course you'll have the opportunity to introduce yourself and your business to other small business owners and managers as you present your 20 second Elevator Pitch.
Kind regards
Nicola Davies-Cooke

Our Guest Presenter this week is Steve Barry, who after nearly a decade of experience as a website developer has discovered that he's totally unable to sell himself ... but nothing daunted, he is a small business owner with a passion for getting involved in the community, which is what brought him to SBNG of course!
Today's conversation will be about what ChatGPT and other LLMs are and (more importantly) are not, and will help you learn what to expect, how it works and what you need to be aware of.
Steve will provide guidance on how to use it safely and responsibly.
Oh ... he's also a Star Wars nerd.

We love networking and bringing people together to help them build their business. This time around at our Peninsula meeting we are just going to see what happens around the table - could be general "getting to know you better" conversation, or perhaps there will be a Hot Topic to get our teeth into!
Do you have a business colleague you want to introduce to SBNG? This could be the perfect opportunity because Guest Tickets have been added. All you need to do is select your "Plus One"
Plus of course you'll also have the opportunity to introduce yourself and your business to other small business owners and managers as you present your 20 second Elevator Pitch.
Spread the word, invite a friend to register and make it your business to join us!

Often we decide to work for ourselves because we want the flexibility and freedom that comes when self-employed. However, how free are you really?
If you've ever found yourself under-pricing your work, doing work for free or sacrificing down-time for a deadline, then you may not be as free as you imagined.
There's a way to take back your freedom, to start to enjoy the flexibility you desired in the first place. It's time to harness your power at work.
Join us to hear Dr Leanne Faulkner explore what power means when self-employed and how you can develop more of it. You'll leave breakfast with one simple strategy you can use immediately when back at work.
If you've not yet met Leanne, she is the owner of consultancy, Fortitude at Work. She has a PhD focused on how we can work well when self-employed; she also has extensive small business experience and was the original founder of skincare company, Billie Goat Soap.
Plus of course you'll have the opportunity to introduce yourself and your business to those present at the meeting as you deliver your 20 second Elevator Pitch.
As much as we try to avoid it, sometimes business disputes just happen. They can happen with customers, suppliers, landlord, partners, bank, you name it, and it can be very distressing.
Our presentation this week comes from Isaac Chalik, a Solicitor with over 30 years business experience in property, finance, small business, franchising and more. Isaac's claim to fame is a case he won against ANZ at Australian Financial Ombudsman which was used as a case study in 2018 Banking Royal Commission.
Isaac's presentation will cover:
Bring a common scenario dispute and see how dispute resolution can be applied.
